Did you know that Ohio’s Metro Park Systems are extremely important to Steelheaders as they provide many access points to steelhead holding water. Without these park system access would is limited.
Legally you need written land owner’s permission to access privately owned property.
The law goes something like this. If the land owner owns both sides of the river, he/she owns the land under the water too. If you are stepping on the river’s bed, you are trespassing.
Please visit the Metro Parks web sites.
