Every day on the water is a good day with many challenges a steelheader has to over come. With good work ethics and my proven instructions and techniques, you will succeed. You will have the foundation that you can build upon and with practice you will consistently catch your share of Lake Erie steelhead. No matter what your skill levels are we all can learn from others, including myself.
Steelheading is like a giant puzzle. The more you know and understand, the more successful you will be and that goes for anything we do. I learn something new every day I fish and I expect too. You never stop learning. You never know when you’ll need to pull something you have learned from the archives to turn a slow day around.
The Steelhead Guide has been serving clients, clubs, fly fisherman and sportsmen since 1994. There were no teachers then and I know of none now. The Steelhead Guide is proud to have taught hundreds of anglers over the years to become successful steelheader. Guiding is not a job for me, it’s a passion. I’m very fortunate to be able to meet interesting people, from all walks of life, from many state near and far. The greatest satisfaction for me comes throughout the day witnessing confidence in every cast and see results.
